Wright Joins Law Offices of Vandeventer Black
RICHMOND, VA. The law offices of Vandeventer Black LLP are pleased to announce that Murray H. Wright has joined the firm. Wright concentrates his practice in Construction, Insurance Defense, Banking and Finance, and Aviation Law. He represents architects, engineers, developers, financial institutions and insurance carriers.
Prior to joining Vandeventer Black, Wright practiced law at Wright Robinson Osthimer & Tatum, which he founded in 1986 and grew to more than 200 employees and five offices across the U.S. After a brief retirement, Wright decided to return to practicing law and joined Vandeventer Black.
In addition to his law career, Wright is an active entrepreneur and savvy businessman. He participated in the founding of Bizport Ltd., TrialNet, and Avitas Capital. He continues to serve on the boards of Bizport and TrialNet and serves on Synalloy Corporation’s (NASDAQ symbol SYNL) board of directors.
Wright earned his B.A. and J.D. from Vanderbilt University. He is an honorary member of the Virginia Society of the American Institute of Architects, past chairman of the Virginia State Bar Construction Law section and Fellow in the American College of Construction Lawyers.
