Megan is an attorney with Vandeventer Black and concentrates her practice in Construction and Government Contracts Law, as well as Immigration and Deportation.
Megan received her B.A. from Washington & Lee University (magna cum laude) and her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law (cum laude), where she served on the Moot Court Board and was a member of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association and the ABA Law Student Division. Megan was the Articles Editor for Richmond Journal Of Law and Technology. She was a Founding Member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. Megan was on the Board of both the Moot Court and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society during law school. She received a CALI Award for Remedies. In addition, Megan was a finalist in the 2007 Barnett Moot Court Competition. She graduated with a certificate of concentration in Intellectual Property.
Megan is admitted to practice in all Virginia state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She is a Member of James Kent Inn of Court. Megan co-chaired the firm’s 2009 United Way Campaign.
