Franklin-Verdell Joins Vandeventer Black Norfolk Law Office

Norfolk, VA. Attorney Shalanda Franklin-Verdell has joined Vandeventer Black's Norfolk office.  Franklin-Verdell concentrates her practice in estate planning and administration, labor and employment, business transactions, creditor’s rights and general litigation.

Franklin-Verdell earned her J.D. from The College of William & Mary School of Law, where she received the Gambrell Professionalism Award, was president of the Black Law Students Association and a student member of I’Anson Hoffman Inns of Court. She also studied abroad through the William & Mary Summer Law Program in Madrid, Spain.  She earned her B.S. from Pennsylvania State University, where she received the Bunton-Waller Fellowship and Schreyers Honors College Graduate awards.
